Our Owner

Roxanne C. Costigan

President

Accurate Court Reporting is celebrating its more than three decades of service to clients in the New England area and beyond.   President and Owner Roxanne Costigan built the firm under the guiding principle that “Accurate’s reporters will get the job done on time and accurately.”

Today, Roxanne’s enduring principles of accuracy, competency, accommodation, and commitment to technology advancement ring true with a broad roster of prestigious clients.

As owner of Accurate Court Reporting, she has earned the respect of the reporters she works with and the clients she serves.  She has been an enthusiastic sponsor of many legal events, has provided brown-bag lunch trainings at law firms, and serves as a mentor to court reporting students.

As the Founder and President of Furever Homes For Felines, Inc., Roxanne often says that running a cat rescue is a labor of love and she is honored to be able to do it.  She is a passionate volunteer.

Roxanne holds a degree in Court Reporting and Legal Studies from Johnson & Wales College in Providence, Rhode Island.  She earned her Registered Professional Reporter credentials from the National Court Reporters Association in 1983.

Our Future

Nicole A. Stewart

Court Reporter

Some things are meant to be.  That sentiment proved true when Nicole decided to follow in her mom’s footsteps and become a court reporter.

Nicole grew up learning from Roxanne that hard work and perseverance pays off and that a work ethic combined with the honor of one’s word is what matters in business.  She took Roxanne’s counsel, worked hard, and graduated from Alfred State College with a degree in Court and Realtime Reporting in 2014.  (Alfred State College was ranked No. 1 Best Court Reporting School in the World – 2022 World Scholarship Forum.)

Nicole is now celebrating a decade of service to the legal community in Western Massachusetts.  A commitment to professionalism and a desire for lifelong learning have propelled Nicole throughout her career.  She attends seminars to improve her steno skills, does her research, and produces the high-quality transcripts Accurate Court Reporting expects.

When she is not reporting, Nicole spends her life with her husband, her three dogs, and her two cats. They love to kayak and cheer on her Boston sports teams.  Bruins fans, her dog’s name is Tuukka!

In addition to supporting the business side of Accurate Court Reporting alongside her mom, Nicole is Roxanne’s greatest champion in their non-profit enterprise, Furever Homes for Felines.  They look forward to working together in both endeavors long into the future.

A Testimonial from a Star Reporter

Jessica R. Stasio, Registered Professional Reporter

I really enjoy taking work through Accurate Court Reporting. I received my B.S. in Court Reporting from Johnson & Wales University in Providence, Rhode Island.  I have worked throughout Massachusetts and Vermont  and now make my home in Western Mass. where I have been reporting since 1997.

Although I take work from many agencies, the top-notch professionals I work with at Accurate Court Reporting make this my first choice when accepting assignments.
